Designer Sofie Ølgaard grew up in Denmark. She draws inspiration from her Scandinavian roots where she creates a look based on the melancholic side of Scandinavian culture combined with playful esthetics. Her style is founded in simplicity and understated detail. In 2008 she was selected for GenArt's Fresh Faces in Fashion in San Francisco.
